The Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) with headquarters in Washington DC awards IDP with the consultancy services for the elaboration of 13 project profiles of public investment for the closure and recovery of deteriorate areas by solid waste in the following cities: Andahuaylas, Bagua, Huamanga, Oxapampa, Chancay, Pozuzo, San Juan Bautista, Yauyos, Abancay, Aymaraes, Huaura, Tarma and Chincha in Perú.
The field of the projects is located in eight regions of the country, which are Apurímac, Ica, Junín, Loreto, Ayacucho, Amazonas, Lima and Pasco, this performance belong to the Deteriorate Areas by Solid Waste Program of the Environment Ministry of the Republic of Peru.
The works are developed by a multidisciplinary team formed by 18 professionals, integrated by specialists in the following fields, solid waste, social evaluation, geology, national investment systems, legal consultants, etc. fixing a 7 month planning of the works.
With the Peru delegation opening, the IDP engineering group consolidates its growth and strategic expansion in Latin America, where currently the company is present in Brazil with offices in Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro, and in Ecuador with an office in Quito.
To the physic presence of the three delegations in Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, there are other projects being developed currently by IDP in countries like Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Guyana, Nicaragua and Trinidad and Tobago, which allows IDP to be a first level partner for all the companies with investment projects in Latin America, offering engineering, environment and architecture technical services thru the intensive use of BIM (building information modeling) technology.
