Characteristics:

The system is based on the thermal drying of sludge (biosolids) at low temperature, whose calorific contribution will be made through a hot water circuit from a cogeneration plant based on gas turbines.

The Agua Prieta plant, the second largest WWTP of its kind in Latin America and the largest in Mexico, has a treatment capacity of 734,000 m3 / d of wastewater with a maximum flow capacity of 1.3 million m3 / d, which It serves 3.3 million people in the region of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, contributing to the sanitation of the Santiago River.
