IDP has finished the pre-certification process of the new LIDL logistics center in Lorquí (Murcia), for two of the main building sustainability certifications, the DGNB SILVER (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) pre-certification and the GBCe 3 SHEETS in GREEN (Green Building Concill Spain).
To accomplish his process, IDP, together with the partners, have switched over the industry and warehouse DGNB model to the Spanish format, being the first logistics warehouse to be pre-certified by DGNB outside of Germany.
Michael Dax, President at DGNB, delivered himself to Mr. Roberto Rizza, Constructions and Facility Management Director at LIDL Spain the pre-certification at the World Sustainable Building Conference 14 (WS14), an event that took place on Barcelona last November.
With these pre-certifications, and looking forward to obtain the final certifications, IDP finishes its intervention, where the Company has developed the integral construction and facilities Project and the construction direction, performing on a Surface of 68.675 m2 where the new distribution center has been built with a Surface of 37.324 m2 with 112 loading and unloading docks.
