The IDP engineering group has been awarded to develop the consultancy services of the prefeasibility and feasibility studies for the construction of the central building of the Protection and Agricultural Health Institute of the Agriculture Ministry (MAG) of Nicaragua.
The Nicaragua Government, thru the Agriculture Ministry with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) is implementing the Program to Promote Sustainable Agricultural Productivity, with a total cost for this program of 52US$ millions for the execution of two components:
– Component 1. Support the sustainable production management and promotion executed by the MAG
– Component 2. Strengthen the agricultural technologies innovation executed by the National Institute for Agricultural Technology (INTA)
As a part of the Component 1 initiatives, it is foreseen the improvement of the central and territorial services, with the construction of the new central building of the Protection and Agricultural Health Institute with an approximate surface of 3.500 m2.
With this new contract, the IDP engineering group positions itself as a strategic partner in Latin America for all the companies with investment projects in the region, offering its services for engineering, environment and architecture thru the intensive use of BIM technology (building information modeling).
