IDP opens a new delegation in Brazil, concretely at the Presidente Vargas Avenue in Rio de Janeiro, with the aim to impulse IDP’s strong growth since the company’s arrival to the Brazilian market two years ago.
Mauro Massa will be the person in charge of the new Rio de Janeiro delegation, Mr. Massa is an economist, with an MBA in from the JL Kellogg School of Management – New Western University/FDC and an Economics and Finance Master from the Centre d’Etudes des Affaires Superiores; he counts with an extended professional career, having worked for more than three decades at Electrobras, the largest holding of the electric sector in Latin America, where he acted as, Financial Director, Strategic Planning Director and Director of the Presidents Board where he has been working for the past 6 years. Previously he was the Economic and Financial Director of the Energy Company Alagoas, Adviser of the General Secretary of the Mines and Energy Ministry and Financial and Economics Analytics Director of the Brazilian Electric System Regulatory Agency DNAEE (currently ANEEL). He also has been member of the Administration Boards of different companies such as Escelsa, Eletrosul, Furnas, Coelce, CEEE and Invetsco.
With this performance, IDP reinforces its position in Brazil, opening a second delegation that allows increasing its performance area, which currently is focused on projects in states like Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais those are directed from the headquarters in Florianópolis.
